In 1998, Cherish the Children Guild was founded by Annabel Bowlen and a group of community leaders interested in assisting Court House Inc., dba BEACON CENTER with funding for it's programs and services.

Now in its 8th year, the Guild, whose membership has grown to over 300 annual and lifetime members, actively raises necessary funds for Beacon Center to continue to offer support for youth between the ages of 12-18 in need of counseling and guidance.

Guild members plan an annual event which raised over a half a million dollars in 2006.  This sell-out event is always a highlight in the Denver philanthropic community.  In addition to the Gala Event, Guild members host holiday parties and provide gifts for the teens involved in the community programs and at the residential care centers.  Additionally, Guild members have volunteered their time to serve on Beacon Center's Development Committee and on the Gala sub committees.  We encourage Guild members to volunteer in their areas of interest.

The Guild continues to grow and encourages community members to become involved in it's efforts.
