Beacon Center needs volunteers for the following:
- Tutoring / Mentoring
- Clerical Support
- Activities for Residents
- Teaching Specialties (arts/crafts, guitar, etc.)
- Group Volunteering assisting with grounds and buildings.
Current Needs:
Office support: candidate needs to be at least 18 years old and
have a comprehensive understanding of both Excel and Access. This is a
temporary assignment that can work into other office support position in the
future. Would prefer that candidate can work 2 to 3 hours at a time once or
twice per week.
Groups: Groups to assist with indoor painting, landscaping at two
of our facilities.

Recent Volunteer events:
Evergreen Lutheran Church
Thank you Evergreen Lutheran Church for you generosity! The group of
Volunteers treated us to landscaping at both the Daybreak Girl's Home and
our Daybreak School! They were on hand to pull weeds, clean up, beautify and
even cleaned the carpets at the Daybreak Girl's Home.

Special Thank you to our volunteers from Congregation Emanuel who came
out to assist some with needed painting at our Daybreak-Princeton Girls
Home! You did a great job and we appreciate it!
St Andrews Methodist Church
Special Thank you to our volunteers from St Andrew who provide continual
volunteering by planning events with our kids! They love the parties, hikes
and other activities that you so generously provide!
